A quality defect may result in the packaging becoming unsealed and no longer complies with the Product safety policy statement for button batteries, as the button/ coin battery packaging is not resistant to being opened by young children and does not release only a single battery at a time.There is a risk of choking, severe internal burn injuries or death to young children if they gain access to the button/coin batteries, and this can occur within 2 hours of swallowing or placing them into their bodies.
