An official Product Safety NZ notice concerns RockaRoo infant rockers. When the rocker is not in use, the restraint straps can dangle below the seat and there is a risk that a crawling infant could become entangled in the straps.In an infant becomes entangled in the straps it could cause strangulation. Published 2022-09-30.
What to do now
Always supervise your child while the rocker is also in the same room. When it’s not in use store the rocker where toddlers/infants can’t reach it.Once the strap fasterner has been fitted then no precuations are needed.Contact the 4moms customer success team, support@4moms.com, for a strap fastener kit.
