An official Product Safety NZ notice concerns Nature Baby Merino Kimono Pointelle Stretch & Grow - sold at various baby and children's retailers.. Nature Baby are recalling the Nature Baby Merino Kimono Pointelle Stretch & Grow because a press-stud (dome) fastening on the chest of the garment may come loose and detach during use. The small detached part could be swallowed and may create a choking hazard for infants and young children. Published 2026-09-11.
What to do now
Stop using the garment immediately, even if the dome fastenings appear secure, and return it to the store where purchased for a refund. Pass the notice to anyone the garment was given to. Full refund to the original form of payment within 5 working days of receipt. Free return in store or by post - NZ Freepost 128561, PO Box 47558, Ponsonby, Auckland; AU prepaid Australia Post label to the Balmain store. No proof of purchase required - gifts, lost receipts and customers unsure whether their item is affected will be assisted by Customer Care.
