An official Product Safety NZ notice concerns Mattel Fisher-Price Dots and Spots Puppy Deluxe Swing (Plug adapter). The swing was supplied with an overseas plug-in adaptor which is not designed for use in New Zealand.If used with an incompatible power source there is an increased risk of electric shock, which can cause serious injury or death. What to do now
Stop using the overseas plug-in adaptor immediately. Affected consumers will be contacted directly.Mattel will arrange for the return of the non-compliant overseas plug-in adaptor at Mattel’s cost. Mattel will provide consumers with a New Zealand approved plug-in adaptor to replace the overseas plug-in adaptor.For any questions or more information, contact Mattel via infonz@mattel.com
