An official Product Safety NZ notice concerns Linus Ember and Linus Felix electric bicycles. (Recall completed Nov 2023). The fork on the bike may have been affected by a manufacturing fault that can cause the fork to break. If the fork breaks while the bike is being ridden, the rider could have an accident. Sold through the following retailers from September 2021 to April 2022:Bicycle Junction (Wellington), Revolution Bicycles (Havelock North), Bike Station Nelson, Electric Bike Team (Auckland), Cycle World Dunedin, Christchurch Electric Bikes. Linus Ember and Linus Felix electric bikes. The affected bikes have serial numbers in the range of LXD20100421 to LXD20100520. Bikes with serial numbers outside of this range are not affected. The serial number is located on the section of frame on top of the motor, either in front of or behind the seat-tube (see image).
