An official Product Safety NZ notice concerns LED & Fibre Optic Christmas Trees and Wreaths. The adaptor is not approved for use in New Zealand and we have had one instance of an adaptor over heating. Over-heating transformers can cause fires. Published 2018-12-10.
What to do now
Discontinue use and free-phone Acquisitions on 0800 110 356. We will arrange to supply you with a new, conforming adaptor, to replace the one in use.
