An official Product Safety NZ notice concerns Kmart - 4 Pack Flashing Rings. If the internal flashing module is removed from the ring button batteries in the product are easily accessible. If young children gain access to the button batteries and ingest them, they may suffer internal burn injuries, which can result in serious illness and even death. Published 2019-10-30.
