An official Product Safety NZ notice concerns HPM Electresafe Powercentre. The product is labelled Type FS and the instruction manual lists the FS feature when the product did not have this feature. The product, due to the incorrect label, is deemed unsafe under the Electricity (Safety) Regulations 2010 Published 2025-02-03.
What to do now
The affected product will be relabelled. Legrand will provide a remedy kit including a replacement label with the correct product information and an instruction manual detailing the updated specifications.
