An official Product Safety NZ notice concerns Daikin Air Conditioning fan deck. There is an inconsistency between the circuit diagram and the wiring of a harness that is attached to the printed circuit board, posing a risk of electric shock to service technicians (only if no residual current device (RCD) is installed in the premises and the fuse on the printed circuit board blows). It is the indoor section of the equipment and is attached to the outdoor unit by piping - it provides conditioned air to the premises. It is not accessible by consumers.
