An official Product Safety NZ notice concerns Children’s poncho towel with ties - Sold at H&M. Recall updated - first published June 2025.. Updated December 2025 (expanded dates of sale recalled). Originally published 17 June 2025: The products do not comply with the mandatory Children’s Nightwear Standard AS/NZS1249:2014. There is a risk of serious burn injuries if the product is exposed to a heat or flame source. Published 2025-12-24.
What to do now
Immediately stop using the product and return it to nearest H&M store for full refund or contact customer service. Call: 1300-401 300Email: info.nz@hm.com The product number and order number can be found in the care label. No receipt is required. The product was sold in H&M stores from September 2022 to August 2025.
