An official Product Safety NZ notice concerns Brilliant Lighting - LAGOS LED Slim Batten (1200mm). Sold at Bunnings.. The Light’s LED driver can overheat causing the housing to distort and melt.Overheating could potentially cause the unit to catch fire. Published 2022-11-03.

Do not turn on the light.Check if your light has one of the affected batch codes, VR2821 or VR3821.If affected, return it to your nearest Bunnings Store for a refund.If your unit requires an Electrician to remove, call Brilliant Lighting, 0800 438 529, to arrange a service call to replace the unit with a similar one or to provide a refund.
