An official Product Safety NZ notice concerns Babyco Flair Highchair. Baby Factory has had wording on www.babyfactory.co.nz “could use the seat recliner for comfortable naps” since it started selling the Babyco Flair Highchair in November 2018.In August 2020 NZ prohibited the sale or resale of inclined sleep products.Baby Factory inadvertently forgot to remove these words.The Babyco Flair Highchair is to be used for feeding and resting only.The product is not an infant sleep product and should never be used for sleep.Infant products that have an incline grater than 7 degrees are not suitable for infants to sleep in and are considered unsafe to do so. Should your child need to sleep, they should be placed in a suitable cot or bed.Please always follow the instructions in the user manual and warning labels attached on the product.In case this product was bought as an inclined infant sleeping product, please stop using it for sleep immediately and contact Baby Factory for the return and refund process.
