An official Product Safety NZ notice concerns Baby Factory Ingenuity Morrison™ Soothing Bouncer. In 2022, The Baby Factory mistakenly posted an image of a baby sleeping in the Ingenuity Morrison™Soothing Bouncer on www.babyfactory.co.nz.The product is not an infant sleep product and should never be used for sleep.Infant products that have an incline greater than 7 degrees are not suitable for infants to sleep in and are considered unsafe to do so. Published 2023-03-01.
What to do now
Should your child need to sleep, they should be placed in a suitable cot or bed.It’s safe to use as an entertainment bouncer. Please always follow the instructions in the user manual and warning labels attached on the product.In case this product was bought as an inclined infant sleeping product, please stop using it for sleep immediately and contact Baby Factory for the return and refund process.
