An official Product Safety NZ notice concerns Anko Heated Elbow Wrap- sold at Kmart. The elbow wrap can overheat if it is positioned incorrectly or it is wrapped around too tight on the elbow. Risk of burns injuries to the skin, with increased risk for heat-sensitive customers. Injuries have occurred. Published 2025-05-13.
What to do now
Consumers should immediately stop using the product and return it to the nearest Kmart store for a refund. Phone us if you are unable to return the product. You must also notify anyone if you have sold or gifted it to another person.
