An official Product Safety NZ notice concerns AC adapter for Epson “Perfection” scanners - Sold from 2010 to 2013. The AC adapters may overheat, melt or ignite potentially causing smoke, odour and deformation to the DC plug which can result in damage to the scanner and could result in an electrical fire.
