An official Product Safety NZ notice concerns 9.5V and 9V DC Adaptors used in conjunction with Casio Electronic Musical Keyboards. In some cases the housing can split apart causing exposure of electrical components. If the housing splits apart it could result in an electric shock. Published 2017-09-08.

If you have an affected adaptor, stop using it and switch off the outlet switch before removing from the outlet. Contact Monaco Corporation to receive a free replacement adaptor.
