An official Product Safety NZ notice concerns 3M Hard hat Attached Earmuffs. During recent internal testing related to product aging, 3M New Zealand found a decrease in earmuff headband force over time when the P5E attachment arm is used in combination with certain head protection products, which may cause more sound than intended to leak around the seal of the earmuff.
