Null In the event of a blockage in the pressure regulator, the rubber gasket may not release excess pressure as intended. In a small number of cases, this may present a risk of pressurised steam/food particles being released forcibly from the rim of the lid, or movement of the pressure cooker, giving rise to burning or scalding.
