An official EU Safety Gate notice concerns Ford - Bronco. On vehicles with special rear-wheel suspension shock absorbers, corrosion can occur between the external reservoir, the mounting flange and the silencer. This can cause deterioration in the welding seams of the external reservoir, which can lead to a fluid leak near the rear wheels, noises, detachment of the external reservoir and/or unstable road performance. External reservoirs on the rear shock absorbers which detach from the vehicle can pose a risk of injury to other road users.
