An official EU Safety Gate notice concerns Extension lead Taken Electric. The products pose a risk of electric shock because:- the holes in the sockets are not sufficiently elastic to ensure correct contact pressure on the plug; - the side earth contacts are not sufficiently elastic to ensure correct contact pressure on the side earth contact; - the side earth contacts can buckle.In addition, the cable for the model with ref. WX 1245 may overheat as the cross-sectional area of the conductors in the cable is not sufficient.The products do not comply with the Low Voltage Directive (LVD) and the relevant national standard UNE 20315.
