An official EU Safety Gate notice concerns Electrical illuminated decoration - Living Aquarium PMS. The product poses a risk of fire because:- the supply cord is poorly terminated which could lead to overheating and arcing;- there is inadequate clearance between live parts of different polarity and a short circuit could occur;- it does not have an adequate means of cord anchorage and the supply cord connections could fail.Two incidents reported.The product does not comply with the Low Voltage Directive (LVD) and the relevant European standard EN 60598.
