An official EU Safety Gate notice concerns 3.8M telescoop ladder. Null The ladder does not have sufficient mechanical strength and can bend or break during use, causing the user to fall from a height. In addition, the space between the rungs/steps is not equal when the ladder is not completely extended and the user could therefore miss his step, lose balance and fall from a height. Also, whilst unlocking the locking mechanism of certain rungs/steps, parts of the ladder above may descend very quickly and crush the user's fingers.The product does not comply with the relevant European standard EN 131.
