An official EU Safety Gate notice concerns Vehicle scissor lift Biltema. The latch of the product might fail, causing the carrying device to fall, leading to injuries. The product lacks the appropriate protective element. Consequently, the feet or hands of the user could become trapped leading to injuries. There is no protection of the hoses and against hydraulic fluid spray. If the hydraulic fluid hose is damaged, the high pressure fluid may cause injuries to the operator. The product's pressure gauge and pressure relief valve did not properly work. This could lead to excessive pressure of the hydraulic system of the lift, causing hydraulic fluid to leak under high pressure, causing injuries to a person close the lift. The carrying device is not stable enough. Consequently, while lowering a vehicle, it inadvertently move, leading to injuries to persons close to the vehicle.
