Consequently, the user will be under-protected against UV radiation increasing the risk of sunburns or skin cancer. Moreover, the product contains the preservatives. Methylchloroisothiazolinone (MCI) and methylisothiazolinone (MI), which are prohibited in leave-on products. These substances cause severe skin burns and eye damage, and may cause an allergic skin reaction. Additionally, the product contains formaldehyde, which is prohibited in cosmetics.
