An official EU Safety Gate notice concerns Can-Am Traxter. If the vehicles are used in snow without the continuously variable transmission (CVT) air intake having been relocated, the stock CVT air intake may become completely obstructed by snow. As a result, the drive belt could overheat, break into pieces and start a fire in the CVT enclosure.
