An official Health Canada notice concerns Yardworks and worx electric corded chainsaws and pole saws recalled. The main switch on the recalled chainsaws and pole saws can fail and allow the saws to continue to run even after the switch is released, posing a laceration hazard. As of June 30, 2025 the company has received no reports of incidents or injuries in Canada or in the United States. Published 2025-07-03.

Joint recall with Health Canada, the United States Consumer Product Safety Commission (US CPSC) and Positec Canada, Ltd. Please note that the Canada Consumer Product Safety Act prohibits recalled products from being redistributed, sold or even given away in Canada. Health Canada would like to remind consumers to report any health or safety incidents related to the use of this product or any other consumer product or cosmetic by filling out the Consumer Product Incident Report Form.
