An official Health Canada notice concerns Winnebago industries. Issue: on certain motorhomes, the heating pad for the water tank could fail. As a result, the heating pad could overheat and melt. Safety risk: a heating pad that overheats and melts can create the risk of a fire. Corrective actions: to reduce the safety risk, winnebago advises not to use the water tank heating pad until the recall repairs are completed. Winnebago will notify owners by mail and advise you to take your motorhome to a dealership to replace the water tank heating pad. Published 2026-01-21.
