Medium riskHealth Canada

An official Health Canada notice concerns Wilson. On certain trailers equipped with Dexter axle electric/hydraulic (e/h) brake system, the actuator pumps may not have been properly heat treated during the manufacturing process and premature wear of critical components in these pumps could result in a loss of braking efficiency on the trailer. This could increase stopping distances, possibly resulting in a crash causing property damage and/or personal injury. Correction: Dexter axle dealers will replace the e/h brake actuator pumps.
