An official Health Canada notice concerns Vivohome adult portable bed rails recalled. When the bed rails are attached to a bed, users can become entrapped within the bed rail or between the bed rail and the side of the mattress. This can pose an entrapment hazard and a risk of death by asphyxiation. As of December 10, 2025, the company has received no reports of incidents or injuries in Canada. Published 2025-12-16.
What to do now
Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled products and contact Vivohome for a refund. Consumers should write “RECALLED” on the rails with a permanent marker and then dispose of the recalled product in accordance with municipal waste guidelines. Please note that the Canada Consumer Product Safety Act prohibits recalled products from being redistributed, sold or even given away in Canada. Health Canada would like to remind consumers to report any health or safety incidents related to the use of this product or any other consumer product or cosmetic by filling out the Consumer Product Incident Report Form.
