An official Health Canada notice concerns Vinfast auto canada inc.. Issue: On certain vehicles, a software problem could cause the multimedia head unit display to flicker and the transmission to shift from drive to neutral while driving. If this happens, there could be a sudden loss of power to the wheels. Safety Risk: A loss of power to the wheels could increase the risk of a crash. Corrective Actions: VinFast has sent a wireless over-the-air software update to each vehicle. If you haven't yet accepted the software update, VinFast encourages you to do so.
