An official Health Canada notice concerns Vespa - Piaggio group. Issue: on certain scooters, the wrong rearview mirrors may have been installed. As a result, the mirrors are missing the "objects in mirror are closer than they appear." warning. Note: this recall only affects certain officina 8 models. Safety risk: if the warning is missing, the rider may not be aware that objects reflected in the mirrors appear farther away than they actually are. This could increase the risk of a crash. Corrective actions: piaggio will notify owners by mail and advise you to take your scooter to a dealership to replace the rearview mirrors. Published 2026-06-15.
