An official Health Canada notice concerns Vermeer. Issue: on certain brush chipper trailers, the hydraulic tongue jack could extend on its own while the trailer is being towed. Safety risk: a hydraulic jack that extends while driving could create a road hazard and increase the risk of a crash.
