An official Health Canada notice concerns Vaast a 1 bicycles and frames recalled. The bicycle frame can develop a hairline fracture near a weld, which can cause the tubes to separate, posing a risk of falling. As of November 18, 2025, the company has received no reports of incidents in Canada, and no reports of injuries. In the United States, the company has received 22 reports of frame fractures and 3 reports of frame tube separation, one of which resulted in a minor injury after falling from the bike. Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled Vaast A/1 bicycles and frames and contact Super Wheels Inc. For a replacement bicycle frameset. (formerly Allite Inc.) by telephone toll-free at 1-855-430-6240, from 8 a.m. To 5 p.m. ET, Monday through Friday, by email at info@vaastbikes.com, or visit the company website. Please note that the Canada Consumer Product Safety Act prohibits recalled products from being redistributed, sold or even given away in Canada. Health Canada would like to remind consumers to report any health or safety incidents related to the use of this product or any other consumer product or cosmetic by filling out the Consumer Product Incident Report Form.
