An official Health Canada notice concerns Triumph. Issue: on certain motorcycles, the recall repairs completed by a triumph dealer during recall sran 627 (transport canada recall no. 2024-618) may not be effective. As a result, a second repair may be required. On certain motorcycles, the wiring for the alternator may not be routed correctly. As a result, the wiring could become damaged by movement and heat and cause a short circuit. Safety risk: a short circuit can create the risk of a fire. Corrective actions: triumph will notify owners by mail and advise you to take your motorcycle to a dealership to replace the wiring for the alternator. Published 2026-02-25.
