Medium riskHealth Canada

An official Health Canada notice concerns Temsa. Issue: On a small number of buses, the interior handle for the roof hatch (emergency exit) could break. If this happens, the roof hatch may not be able to be opened. This could prevent occupants from using the emergency exit and/or delay occupants from escaping the bus in an emergency. Safety Risk: An emergency exit that can't be opened could slow your exit from the bus in an emergency. This could increase the risk of injury. Corrective Actions: Temsa will notify owners by mail and provide you with instructions for how to inspect and, if necessary, repair the emergency exit release handle. Published 2025-06-26.
