An official Health Canada notice concerns Subaru. On certain vehicles equipped with automatic transmissions, a defect in the PARK function could allow the vehicle to roll away while in PARK, or to immobilize the vehicle so that is cannot be moved or driven. Should the vehicle roll away, it could strike another vehicle, stationary object, or a bystander, causing property damage and/or personal injury. Correction: Dealers will replace the transmission.
