An official Health Canada notice concerns Starcraft - Jayco. Issue: On one RV trailer, an emergency exit window may not have been installed. As a result, you may not be able to escape from the trailer in an emergency if the entry door is blocked. Safety Risk: A missing emergency exit could increase the risk of injury in an emergency. Corrective Actions: Starcraft RV will notify the owner by mail and advise them to take their trailer to a dealership to inspect the window in the slide-out (above the sofa). If the window isn't an emergency exit window, the dealer will install one. Published 2023-08-17.
