An official Health Canada notice concerns Starcraft - Jayco. On certain travel trailers, a CAUTION label informing owners not to leave the drain valve open to prevent an escape of sewer gas was omitted during production. If the drain valve is left open, it could result in sewer gas potentially filling the recreational vehicle, which would increase the risk of asphyxiation to occupants. Correction: Starcraft will send a CAUTION label to current owners with instructions for proper placement. If owners are not comfortable installing the label themselves, they can take the label to a Starcraft dealer for installation. Published 2016-01-11.
