An official Health Canada notice concerns Starcraft Bus - Forest river. Certain buses fail to conform to the requirements of CMVSS 217 - Bus Window Retention, Release and Emergency Exits. The sticker placement on the rear emergency window are not within 16cm of the release mechanisms, contrary to the requirements of the standard. In the event of an emergency, this could hamper passengers' efforts to quickly exit the vehicle, which could increase the risk of injury. Correction: The manufacturer will provide new labels and instructions on where to install them. Published 2021-10-15.

The hazard
