An official Health Canada notice concerns Shasta - Forest river. On certain trailers, the Federal Certification label and the Tire and Loading Information label do not contain the correct Gross Vehicle Weight Rating (GVWR). The labels incorrectly indicate a GVWR of 4,270 kg (9,413 lb) instead of 3,453 kg (7,613 lb). As such, the vehicle could be unwittingly overloaded, which would result in poor vehicle handling characteristics, increasing the risk of a crash causing property damage and/or personal injury.
