The dining tables and desk can collapse if a gap has formed where the legs attach to the tabletop and a horizontal force is then applied to the top, posing a potential injury hazard. As of October 1, 2025, the company has received no reports of incidents or injuries in Canada. In the United States, the company has received 1 report of injury which resulted in a laceration. What to do now
Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled products and contact RH US, LLC for a full refund of the purchase price and to coordinate pick up of the recalled desk or table, free of charge. RH will issue the refund following receipt of the recalled desk or table. For more information, consumers can contact RH US, LLC by telephone at 1-833-359-5394, from 6:00am – 7:00pm PT, Monday through Friday, and 8:00am – 5:00pm PT on Saturday and Sunday, by email at recall@rh.com, or online at https://rh.com/us/en/customer-experience/safety-recalls or https://rh.com/us/en/ and click on "Safety Recalls" at the bottom of the page. Joint recall with Health Canada, the United States Consumer Product Safety Commission (US CPSC) and RH US, LLC. Please note that the Canada Consumer Product Safety Act prohibits recalled products from being redistributed, sold or even given away in Canada. Health Canada would like to remind consumers to report any health or safety incidents related to the use of this product or any other consumer product or cosmetic by filling out the Consumer Product Incident Report Form.
