An official Health Canada notice concerns REI - Daimler truck north america. Issue: On certain trucks, the light sensors may not work correctly. Canadian regulations require that, if a vehicle is equipped with a light sensor, that the low beam headlamps and tail lamps must automatically switch on when it is dark or the tail lamps must stay on at all times. Safety Risk: Headlamps and tail lamps that don't work properly could reduce visibility and make the truck less visible. Both issues could increase the risk of a crash.
