An official Health Canada notice concerns RAM - Fiat chrysler automobiles. Issue: On certain trucks, a software problem could cause a delay in the transmission gear selection indicator (PRND) being displayed in the instrument panel cluster, or cause the selected gear not to display properly. Note: This recall only affects trucks equipped with a 3.5-inch instrument panel cluster and a column shifter. Safety Risk: A transmission gear selection indicator that doesn't display properly could create confusion and increase the risk of a crash. Corrective Actions: FCA Canada will notify owners in writing and advise you to take your truck to a dealership to update the instrument panel cluster software. Published 2025-05-20.
