An official Health Canada notice concerns Porsche. On certain vehicles, the fasteners of the camshaft adjusters could fail due to an assembly problem. If this occurs, this could cause abnormal engine noises, vibrations, illumination of the check engine light and could cause the vehicle to stall, increasing the risk of a crash causing injury and/or damage to property. Correction: Dealers will replace the fastening screws of the camshaft adjusters and if necessary, replace the camshaft adjuster assemblies. Published 2019-02-25.
