An official Health Canada notice concerns Pontiac - General motors. On certain vehicles, when the front passenger seat is in the full forward position, the seat position sensor may cause a deployment delay between the first and second stages of the dual-stage front passenger airbag. Failure of the airbag to deploy as intended during a crash (where deployment is warranted) could increase the risk of personal injury to the seat occupant. Correction: Dealers will reprogram the Sensing and Diagnostic Module. Published 2011-11-22.

The hazard
