An official Health Canada notice concerns Polaris. Certain vehicles may not comply with Canada Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (CMVSS) 208 - Occupant Protection in Frontal Impacts. The vehicle fails to provide an audible warning if the driver's seatbelt is not buckled, contrary to the requirements of the standard. This could increase the risk that the driver remain unbelted, increasing the risk of injury in a crash. Correction: Dealers will install a newly designed jumper harness which included the required seatbelt chime. Published 2019-03-28.
