An official Health Canada notice concerns Polaris. Issue: On a small number of side-by-side UTVs, the passenger seat belt bracket may not have been properly welded. As a result, the seat belt could detach. Safety Risk: A seat belt that detaches could create an increased risk of injury. Corrective Actions: Polaris will notify owners by mail and advise you to take your side-by-side to a dealership to inspect, and if necessary, repair the passenger-side seat belt buckle bracket weld.
