An official Health Canada notice concerns Polaris. Issue: On certain ATVs, a wiring harness may not have been assembled properly. As a result, a wire to the voltage regulator could contact a brake line or the vehicle frame and cause a short circuit. This could also result in a loss of front brakes. Safety Risk: A short circuit could create a fire risk. A loss of front brakes can increase the risk of a crash. Corrective Actions: Polaris advises to stop using your vehicle immediately. Polaris will notify owners by mail and instruct you to take your ATV to a dealership to secure the wiring harness. Published 2023-08-23.
