An official Health Canada notice concerns Peterbilt - Paccar. Issue: On a small number of trucks, the trailer brakes may release too slowly when the brake pedal is released. Canadian regulations require trailer brakes to release within a certain time. Safety Risk: In certain situations, trailer brakes that release too slowly could increase the risk of a crash.
