An official Health Canada notice concerns Peterbilt - Paccar. On certain vehicles, due to a software malfunction, activation of the high beam headlamps when the fog lamps are illuminated would cause the fog lamps to turn off for 10 seconds then turn back on automatically. This could produce unexpected fog lamp behaviour, excessive glare and/or impair the visibility of drivers in oncoming traffic, which could increase the risk of a crash causing injury and/or damage to property. The hazard
